Quantitative Analyst

Akos Reitz is a quantitative analyst at William Blair Investment Management. He is responsible for spearheading the firm’s AI adoption across research, trading, and operations. Formerly, Akos was a trader and data scientist for six years. Before joining the firm in 2019, he was a multi-asset trader at Legal & General Investment Management. Before that, Akos held roles at UBS Investment Bank as an algorithmic execution trade analyst in London and as an equity derivatives sales trading trainee in New York. He is a Chartered Machine Learning Engineer at the British Computer Society. Akos is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in computer science (machine learning) at University College London. He received a B.Sc. in political economy from King's College London, an M.Sc. in computer science from Queen Mary University of London, and an M.Sc. in finance from the London School of Economics.
