Alexandra Symeonidi, CFA, is a senior corporate credit and sustainability analyst on the emerging markets debt (EMD) team at William Blair Investment Management. In this role, she covers global emerging market regions with a sectoral focus on oil and gas, metals and mining, industrials, and utilities. Alexandra is also a member of Investment Management’s sustainability leadership team. Before joining William Blair in 2020, she was a credit analyst on NN Investment Partners’ EMD team. Before that, Alexandra worked on the firm’s multi-asset and performance measurement teams. She received a B.S. in economics from Athens University of Economics and Business and an M.Sc., cum laude, in finance and investments from Erasmus University’s Rotterdam School of Management.
