Bradley Ernst, CFA

Brad Ernst, CFA, is a research analyst on the U.S. growth and core equity team at William Blair Investment Management. In this role, he focuses on U.S. small-cap consumer companies. Before joining William Blair in 2021, Brad was a research analyst at Columbia Wanger Asset Management for six years, where he covered healthcare and consumer companies. He was also an equity analyst summer intern at Capital Group during business school. Before transitioning to investment management, Brad held various financial analyst roles at Accretive Health, a hospital revenue cycle consulting firm. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago. Brad received a B.A. in economics, with high honors, and mathematics from Colgate University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
