David Brenia

Research Analyst

David Brenia is a research analyst for the Small Cap Value, Mid Cap Value, and Small-Mid Cap Value strategies at William Blair Investment Management. In this role, he focuses on the financial sector. Before joining the firm in 2021, David was a member of the small- to mid-cap value equity teams at ICM. Previously, he was a co-portfolio manager and research analyst at Placera Capital Management and Turner Investments, where he focused on the financial services sector. From 1996 to 2001, Dave served as a lieutenant and assistant operations officer in the United States Navy. He received a B.S. in political science from the United States Naval Academy and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Tulsa.
