Doug Basile is a portfolio specialist for the U.S. growth and core equity strategies at William Blair Investment Management. Before joining the firm in 2024, he spent twelve years as a portfolio specialist at Allspring Global Investments (formerly Wells Fargo Asset Management), covering emerging markets equity, U.S. core equity, and U.S. growth equity strategies. Previously, Doug spent fifteen years working in the equity derivatives industry trading on the Chicago Board Options Exchange and Chicago Board of Trade exchanges. He received a B.A. in history from West Virginia Wesleyan College, an M.B.A. from Elmhurst College, and an M.S. in finance from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business.
