Doug Basile

Doug Basile is a portfolio specialist for William Blair’s U.S. growth and core equity strategies. Before joining the firm in 2024, he spent twelve years as a portfolio specialist at Allspring Global Investments (formerly Wells Fargo Asset Management), where he covered emerging markets equity, U.S. core equity, and U.S. growth equity strategies. Before that, Doug spent fifteen years working in the equity derivatives industry, where he traded on the Chicago Board Options Exchange and Chicago Board of Trade exchanges. He received a B.A. in history from West Virginia Wesleyan College, an M.B.A. from Elmhurst College, and an M.S. in finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
