Frank Wedekind

Frank Wedekind is a research analyst on the global equity team at William Blair Investment Management. In this role, he covers large-cap global financials. Before joining William Blair in 2025, Frank was a portfolio manager within the internal active equities European team at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), where he was responsible for financials and consumer companies. Previously, Frank was an analyst for a global concentrated best ideas portfolio, covering global financials. Before joining ADIA, he worked as an analyst in a global financials hedge fund for Henderson Global Investors (formerly Gartmore Investment Management) for six years. Before that, Frank was a forensic accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He received an M.Sc. in economics and international economics from the University of Nottingham.
