Inna Rugaleva, CFA, is a global equity research analyst at William Blair Investment Management. She covers large-cap consumer companies. Previously, she was a senior research associate covering global financials. Before joining the firm in 2025, Inna worked at Goldman Sachs, most recently as an executive director in cross-asset products. Her role applied a focus on macroeconomic factors and their implications for companies, translating that analysis into fundamental idea generation and portfolio recommendations at the security and industry level for portfolio managers. Her exposure spanned asset classes and sectors, with a particular emphasis on the consumer and financials sectors, where economic data was a key input. Previously, she worked in CEEMEA equity sales. Inna received a bachelor’s degree in international economic relations from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).
