Associate Portfolio Specialist

Kate Murphy is an associate portfolio specialist for William Blair’s emerging markets debt strategy. In this role, she conducts portfolio analysis and is responsible for communicating portfolio structure and outlook to clients, consultants, and prospects. Before joining the firm, Kate worked as a business analyst on the institutional clients team for Allan Gray, an asset manager based in South Africa. Kate received a B.Sc. in chemical engineering from the University of Cape Town.
