Lisa Cox

Lisa Cox is a stewardship specialist at William Blair Investment Management. In this role, she supports ESG-focused company engagement activities on the global equity and U.S. growth and core equity teams. In addition, Lisa oversees proxy voting policies and execution. Before joining William Blair in 2025, she worked with a variety of organizations to promote corporate social responsibility including Christian Brothers Investment Services, Verité, the United Nations International Labor Organization, UN Women, and as a trial attorney at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Lisa is licensed to practice law in California, Washington, and the District of Columbia. She received a B.A. in economics and political science from the University of California at San Diego, an M.P.A. from New York University, and a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law.
