Ramon Gonzalez, CFA

Ramon Gonzalez, CFA, is responsible for consultant relations and institutional business development in the Eastern region of the United States at William Blair Investment Management. Before joining the firm in 2019, Ramon was vice president at Wilshire Associates, spearheading the firm’s global equity manager research efforts. Ramon has 20 years of experience as a financial analyst, economist, and investment consultant and has advised a diverse array of clients such as institutional plan sponsors, government agencies, and private investors. His industry experience also spans organizations such as Angeles Investment Advisors, the Milken Institute, and Goldman Sachs. Ramon serves on the board of directors for the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE), a non-profit organization focused on professional development for investment management sales executives. He is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society San Diego. Ramon holds FINRA series 7 and 63 securities licenses. He received a B.A. in international economics and French from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Ramon also studied at l'Université de Toulouse and l’Institut d’études politiques (Sciences Po) in Toulouse, France.
