Daniel Zelazney, Partner

Dan Zelazny, partner, is head of the Financial Institutions and National Accounts (FINA) team at William Blair Investment Management. He has 25 years of experience selling and distributing investments to institutions, consultants, and investment advisors. Before joining William Blair in 2019, Dan was a managing director in the retirement solutions group at AQR Capital Management, where he led the creation and build-out of subadvisory and retirement efforts. Before joining AQR, Dan held various distribution and management roles at Neuberger Berman for 13 years. He began his career as an analyst at Mercer Investment Consulting in Chicago. Dan is actively involved in several industry organizations, including the Insured Retirement Institute (IRI) and Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA). He received a B.S. in finance from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
