Jared Lou, CFA

Jared Lou, CFA, is a hard and local currency portfolio manager on the emerging markets debt (EMD) team at William Blair Investment Management. Before joining William Blair in 2020, he was a portfolio manager on NN Investment Partners’ EMD team, where he was responsible for Latin American hard currency sovereign and quasi-sovereign debt. Before joining NNIP in 2016, Jared was a sovereign analyst on Grantham, Mayo, van Otterloo’s EMD team. Previously, Jared worked in risk management at State Street Global Markets and quantitative research at Property and Portfolio Research. Jared received a B.A., cum laude, and M.A. in economics from Tulane University and an M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.
