Sophie Gao, CFA

Sophie Gao, CFA, is a research analyst on the global equity team at William Blair Investment Management. In this role, she focuses on companies within China. Before joining William Blair in 2021, Sophie held positions in business development at ADM and in credit research at Muzinich & Co., an investment firm specializing in corporate credit. She is a CFA charterholder. Sophie received a B.A. in economics from the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University, an M.S. in finance from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
